Apple Updates French Site With ‘Charlie Hebdo’ Banner

Following the events which unfolded in Paris, France involving satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo, earlier this week, Apple has updated its official French website with a banner that reads: “Je Suis Charlie.”

The banner can be seen right at the bottom of Apple’s French homepage, with the phrase when translated meaning: “I am Charlie.”

The addition of the banner to the company’s French region site follows an attack on the newspapers headquarters in Paris, on Wednesday.
