There’s just a fortnight to go before Apple puts all 38 models of its Apple Watch up for public pre-order, and industrial designer Marc Newson – reportedly hired by the company last September and previously famed for his involvement in high-end watch design – has been spotted in the wild wearing the wrist wearable.
The photo, shared by user Rogifan, would appear to show the designer wearing Apple Watch Stainless Steel (or Edition?) with Midnight Blue Modern Buckle.
The sighting arrives following a separate photo of the wearable “in the wild” originally provided by fashion editor, Suzy Menkes. The photo, shared earlier this year, specifically showed the unnamed person rocking what appeared to be the Apple Watch Space Black Stainless Steel with Link Bracelet and “Butterfly Closure.”
Many after the photo’s surfacing continued to speculate as to the actual identity of the mystery person seen in the photo, with some even suggesting that the wrist shown could belong to Newson himself.
Although this, (to our knowledge), has never been confirmed.
